Faculty of Social Sciences
The social sciences are often confused with the behavioral sciences which are closely related to them. The social sciences study the role of social processes, structures, and institutions in the beliefs, values, and norms prevailing in groups, communities, and societies. They include disciplines like sociology, anthropology, economics, and political science. In some areas, the behavioral and social sciences overlap with others which they reciprocally influences one another.
Frantz Fanon University focuses on teaching the specialties in the next page because they are most important in the current state of Somali society. These include criminology, conflict and development studies, and international relations & diplomacy.
